In case you want to add photo album to your personal website, there are more choices nowadays, if you prefer some simpler solution than the one (Gallery2) I am currently using, you can consider the following

Plogger
PhotoStack
iPAP
MG2
There are also some flash based solution which are great choice if you prefer not to require your user click too much..
