Last night we made a last minute decision change to cancel the trip to Vancouver, BC that was schedule to happen one week after . That wasn’t a hard decision after checking weather.com and realized all the days we planned to stay there are all rainy!
Of course, then we have to cancel all our bookings (flight/hotels/car rentals etc) and it wasn’t a simple process, but anyhow, we managed to get that done and we actually started plan for the new trip this morning, same schedule, but different location, this time we picked a place that is much warmer than Vancouver - it is Phoenix, Arizona.

It is funny that in two days so far I stay at Columbus, I always get connected to OSU (Ohio State University).
The first dinner I had here is in Bento-Go-Go, I didn’t really search too much and only knew it is a Japanese resteraunt before I came, it turns out it is a resteraunt within OSU school area, I ended up with having dinner with college kids. The college scene is familar and that really reminded me 5 years back when I was still in school. Man, working really change people’s view of the world!
Then today after work, I took a different route to walk back to hotel (because my hotel is 6 blocks south and 1 block west, so mathematically I should have 6 different routes with the same distance). It is really strange that there is a Viet resteraunt right after I made the turn! The atmosphere of the place is pretty decent except I am the only guy in the room (the waiter walked out while I was eating). The food was ok, but nowhere near excellent, so I quickly finished up. While I was about ready to leave, the waiter, an Asian dude, came back and started chatting with me!! Here is the most bizarre part, he is a recent OSU MBA graduate!! The guy told me that he really had a hard time to find a MBA job in this area, and if still cannot find a job by the end of the year, he will move to another area. So I guess either MBA is not really very welcome here or OSU (or the guy) is not very competitive…
