*Sigh* Just heard back from Ford…it was a ding. Although since it was out-of-state, I wasn’t that interested in it anyways, it is still a hit to the ego to be rejected.
Without doubt, it was the technical portion that killed me - I could hardly answer the questions that the technical guru kept throwing at me. He asked all these questions on infrastructure and security, 2 areas that I am least knowledgeable about. Oh well, this just means that I am going to have to do more work off-campus now. Although the story itself was kind of slow, DiCaprio delivered an awesome performance in his role as Howard Hughes! He played out the two faces of Hughes (one that everyone sees and one that he struggles with alone) extremely well.

Hughs really had some styles
1. Very positive attitude, in his eyes, there is really nothing impossible.
2. Decisiveness, the part that Hughs almost took no time to reach to the decision to reshoot the movie “Hell’s Angels” just to add sound effect really grounded me

While we enjoyed the good food (very inexpensive comparing to Neo-China), we had a very nice chat with the boss from Peking-Garden Chinese resteraunt. He came from Taiwan 20 some years ago, and he has some good insights on to run food industry business: quality of food, building dining atmosphere, strong marketing presence etc. One thing the boss pointed out is that our favorite resteraunt - 35 Chinese resteraunt only got C in Wake County sanitory examination, that is barely a pass… no wonder we didn’t feel good every time after we eat there!
