First, break all the rules!

“First, Break All The Rules: What The World’s Greatest Managers Do Differently” This books presents 12 questions, and if your employee answers all of them positively, the chance is that you are a great boss.

1) Do I know what is expected of me at work?
2) Do I have the materials and equipment I need to do my work right?
3) At work, do I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day?
4) In the last seven days, have I received recognition or praise for good work?
5) Does my supervisor, or someone at work, seem to care about me as a person?
6) Is there someone at work who encourages my development?
7) At work, do my opinions seem to count?
8) Does the mission/purpose of my company make me feel like my work is important?
9) Are my co-workers committed to doing quality work?
10) Do I have a best friend at work?
11) In the last six months, have I talked with someone about my progress?
12) At work, have I had the opportunities to learn and grow?”

First sports photography like a pro :)

This is a game between No1 and No 22, but the game and results didn’t show that big difference as much as the ranking difference. Duke beats Maryland by merely 3 points (60-57). Since I equiped myself like a pro, I have not trouble sitting inside the photographer area in Duke Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Special thanks to the mono-pod, it is much easier to carry my trusty 70-200L2.8 lens with 10D+ED8 battery pack. But it is still very tiring after one hours of photoshooting, and shooting basketball is very hard to capture the “moment”. Now I understand how those AP photographers get paid so well (because their photos are really different!)

but anyway, here is my first attempt to pretending to be a serious basketball photographer, enjoy.

Jane get her first MBA job offer

@PriceWaterhouseCoopers Business Consulting.. OMG! this is the historical achievement.

We will most likely to reject the offer since we don’t want to move to New York city..
